Meeting Description:

The Linguistics Graduate Program at Western University is pleased to invite
submissions for the tenth annual Western Interdisciplinary Student Symposium
on Language Research (WISSLR). In 2017, WISSLR will be held on March 11, at
Western University, in London, Ontario.


Call for Papers:

In keeping with the interdisciplinary nature of the Master’s program at
Western, we are pleased to invite students of all levels, and of all academic
domains, to submit abstracts of original research on language. Topics may come
from any field of inquiry that can be used to study language.

Guidelines: 

- Abstracts of no more than 1 (one) page, with a separate page for references
- Please send your anonymized abstract (your name should not appear in the
document) as an attachment
- Please include in the body of your email : your name, academic affiliation,
email, title, whether you’d like to be considered for both paper and poster
sessions, and any accessibility requests. 
 
Timeline:

- Deadline for submissions is on Sunday, January 15, 2017
- Applicants will be notified of the committee’s decision by Monday, January
30, 2017.
