Meeting Description:

The 7th annual, one-day conference on Hispanic linguistics bringing together
researchers and students from across North Carolina and throughout the South
East. The focus of the conference is on research in all areas of Hispanic
linguistics by scholars in the Southeastern US or on research on Spanish in
the Southeast. The conference features 20 minute presentations and a poster
session.

Call for Papers:

Spanish Linguistics in North Carolina (SLINKI) 2017

We invite abstracts for 20 minute oral presentations or poster presentations
for the 7th annual Spanish Linguistics in North Carolina (SLINKI) conference,
to be held at North Carolina State University in Raleigh on Saturday, February
11, 2017. While the focus of the conference is on research in all areas of
Hispanic linguistics by scholars in the Southeastern US or on research on
Spanish in the Southeast, we welcome all submissions. Abstracts should be no
more than one page in length, including figures and bibliography.

Abstract submission opens on September 16, 2016.

All submissions must be received by November 15, 2016.

Presenters will be notified of acceptance by December 1, 2016.
