Meeting Description:

The Second Intonation Workshop will take place on February 16 and 17, 2017 at
the University of Toronto. The goal of this workshop is to promote a dialogue
between a vibrant group of local experts, including graduate students, faculty
and alumni, and researchers from around the world. The workshop will include
presentations by four invited speakers and by members of the University of
Toronto community, as well as posters by scholars from other institutions.

Julia Hirschberg
José Ignacio Hualde
Marta Ortega-Llebaria


Call for Papers: 

Researchers interested in the form-meaning mapping in L1 and L2 intonation are
invited to submit their proposals for poster presentations at the Second
Intonation Workshop, which will take place on February 16-17, 2017 at the
University of Toronto.

A 400-word abstract (with an additional page for references and figures)
should be submitted in PDF form to uoft.prosodyworkshop at gmail.com by November
7, 2016. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by November 21, 2016.
