Meeting Description:

The 13th LIMES Colloquium will take place at the Institute of Romance Studies
of the University of Vienna on February 24-25, 2017. For the first time in
Austria, LIMES will cross the (Bavarian) federal state boundary, but not the
(Austro-Bavarian) linguistic border. LIMES is a colloquium for scientific
exchange between young researchers in Linguistics (PhD students, advanced
undergraduates and postdocs) who present and discuss their ongoing or
completed research projects. The Colloquium is not limited to a specific
theoretical school but intends to bring together different approaches on
Romance languages (either theoretical or descriptive).

Call for Papers:

We invite abstracts for 20 minute talks plus 10 minutes for discussion.
Presentations can be held in German, in English or in any Romance language. 
Abstracts (maximum 400 words) should be submitted to: limes2017 at univie.ac.at
by November 30, 2016. Abstracts must be anonymous. The following information
must be included in the body of the e-mail: name, surname, affiliation and a
brief description of your research interests/project. Notifications of
acceptance will be sent by December 15, 2016.
