Description:

The Department of Translation and Language Sciences at Universitat Pompeu
Fabra is seeking candidates for a lecturer ​position with a postdoctoral
contract for a year during the 2017-2018 school year involving the teaching of
the English language​, with the teaching load of a full time faculty member​.
The successful candidate is expected to teach English language courses of the
two undergraduate programs of the Department—the degree program of Translation
and Interpreting and the degree program of Applied Languages—and to take part
in the research activities of the Department. See the Department web page for

Applicants must hold a PhD at the time of application and must present
evidence of excellence in research, with publications at the international
level, in any of the research areas of the Department. In addition, applicants
must demonstrate capacity for teaching English. 

The annual gross salary is 30.048,48 €.
