Meeting Description:

The Texas Linguistic Society is holding its 17th annual conference this year
with a special session on irregular morphology. The conference will take place
from Friday, September, 15, to Saturday, September 16, 2017.

Call For Papers: TLS XVII
 
The Seventeenth Meeting of the Texas Linguistic Society will take place
September 15-16, 2017 at the University of Texas at Austin. The organizers
invite papers from all sub-fields of linguistics. There will also be a special
session entitled: “Irregular Morphology”

Presentations will be 20 minutes in length, with 10 minutes for
questions/discussion.

Abstract guidelines:

Length: Maximum 500 words. A second page may include examples,
charts/diagrams, and references. Times New Roman, 12-point font is preferred.

Format: 

Include the paper title and the text of the abstract. The abstract should not
include the author’s name, affiliation, or other identifying information. All
abstracts will be reviewed anonymously.

Deadline for submission: May 31, 2017

Notification: June 27, 2017

How to submit: Abstracts should be attached to an email as a PDF file and
submitted electronically. Include the following information in the body of the
email:

- Author’s name 
- Author's affiliation 
- Paper title
