Abstract:

Les relations littéraires, culturelles et intellectuelles entre la France et
les pays de l’Europe du Nord au XVIIe siècle, beaucoup moins étudiées que
celles avec l’Italie et avec l’Es-pagne, sont d’une importance inestimable
pour la juste ap-préciation du XVIIe siècle français. Les essais réunis dans
ce volume abordent des questions des relations et des influences réciproques
dans toute leur diversité. Des études portant sur la cour de la reine
Christine de Suède et sur les Huguenots du Refuge après la Révocation sont
complétées par d’autres qui traitent d’une grande variété d’auteurs,
d’érudits, de philosophes et de voyageurs tant français qu’étrangers. De cette
façon, le volume a pour but d’ouvrir de nouveaux champs de recherche
internationaux et interdisciplinaires aux spécia-listes du XVIIe siècle.
