Association, is available at

https://www.euroslajournal.org/

JESLA is the Journal of the European Second Language Association (EuroSLA). It
publishes high-quality, peer-reviewed open-access articles in the field of
second language research. Its aim is to promote the understanding of second
language learning and use, and to stimulate the debate on the bilingual and
multilingual individual and society. JESLA publishes one issue per year
comprising the best papers from the EuroSLA annual conference.

The scope of the journal covers fundamental and applied issues in second
language learning, in children, adolescents and adults; second / bilingual
language use and processing, language representation, bilingual cognition, as
well as second language assessment and education. JESLA welcomes empirical,
theoretical and methodological research papers, including meta-analyses. No
specific theories or approaches are given preference.

The readership includes second language researchers from the fields of
linguistics, psychology, sociology, education, as well as related
sub-disciplines and interdisciplinary areas. All articles in the journal
undergo rigorous peer review based on initial editor screening and refereeing
by at least two anonymous reviewers.

The journal editor is Sarah Ann Liszka (University of Greenwich), supported by
the editor-in-chief, Danijela Trenkic (University of York), and high-profile
Editorial and Advisory boards. JESLA is published by White Rose University
Press, an Open Access publisher supported by the Universities of Leeds,
