Meeting Description: 

Creativity in the teaching and learning of Arabic language: future directions
is a collaboration between our newly established centre in the heart of London
and the University of Westminster, London. The conference focuses on the role
that creativity can hold in addressing common challenges when teaching Arabic
and the innovative practices of Arabic language teachers around the world.

The conference will be held on the 24 and 25 of November 2017 will feature
keynote speakers from UK, Europe, USA and the Arab world, and will include:
plenaries, talks, presentations, workshops, open forum, round table and an
exhibition, as well as students’ performances in Arabic.

Main themes of the conference:
- Creative approaches to the teaching and learning of Arabic language, and to
researching these areas.
- Innovation in Arabic language Teacher Education: Employability & teacher
development.
