Meeting Description:

The English Department at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade, is
pleased 
to announce the fourth international meeting of the phoneticians of English. 

The aim of the event is to bring together researchers who investigate various
aspects of English phonetics and English pronunciation both from the
theoretical and pedagogical perspectives. Papers addressing comparative issues
between English and another language are most welcome.

The keynote speakers are Professor Elizabeth C. Zsiga, Georgetown University,
USA, and Professor John C. Wells, University College London, UK.

Accomodation:

Hotel reservations will be made by the organizers upon request. Prices will
range from 35 to 80 Euros per night (single or double room, breakfast
included).


Call for Papers:

The English Department at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade, is
pleased to announce the fourth international meeting of the phoneticians of
English. 

The aim of the event is to bring together researchers who investigate various
aspects of English phonetics and English pronunciation both from the
theoretical and pedagogical perspectives. Papers addressing comparative issues
between English and another language are most welcome. Each paper will be
allotted 30 minutes (20 minutes for presentation and 10 minutes for
discussion).

The conference fee is 80 Euros, and it includes the conference pack and coffee
break refreshments. The reduced fee for the Serbian participants is EUR 60. We
also invite colleagues to participate in the event without their own
presentation. The registration fee for these participants is 60 Euros. 

The official language of the conference is English. 

A selection of papers will be published after the conference.
