Description:
The Language Conservancy is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization dedicated to
the revitalization of endangered Native American languages.

We are currently seeking to fill multiple internship positions for processing
large amounts of fieldwork audio and text data collected working with the Crow
language and others.

Data was collected by an excellent team of linguists and interns. The goal of
this project is to create an extensive audio reference dictionary for speakers
and learners.

Work will entail cutting and labeling audio, data entry from handwritten
notes, additional tasks relating to analysis and organization of the data, and
some retyping of existing corpus.

Work will take place within the Language Conservancy office in Bloomington, IN
so teleworking is not an option.

This is an unpaid internship during the 2017-2018 school year.

Application Deadline: Open until filled.
