Ilha do Desterro: A Journal of English Language, Literatures in English and
Cultural Studies, ISSN 2175-8026

The Ilha do Desterro journal is published by the English Post-Graduation
Program (Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina - Brasil). This is an
open-access journal indexed by SCOPUS, SciElo, MLA, among other databases.

We are currently seeking for papers that investigate and theorize about the
usage of the English Language in various contexts. Possible topics are as
follows: discourse, education and society, language teaching and learning,
language and cognition, and translation.

Submission deadline: June 30th, 2017
Publication Date: January-April, 2018, Vol. 71, n. 1, 2018

Texts written in English should follow the APA Style, and texts written in
Portuguese should follow the ABNT style.
