Focus: CreteLing 2017 focuses on Theoretical Linguistics (Syntax, Semantics, Phonology, Morphology), Sign Language, Animal Communication and Sociolinguistics.
Minimum Education Level: Undergraduate


Description:
The Division of Linguistics at the University of Crete invites everybody
interested in linguistics to a unique linguistic experience in Rethymnon,
Crete, Greece. The school will take place from July 10 to July 21, 2017 and
there will be introductory courses and more advanced seminars in phonology,
morphology, syntax, semantics, sign language, animal communication and
language and society. There will also be two workshops taking place within the
CreteLing 2017 Summer School: The workshop Trends in Semantics, on 12/7/2017,
organized by Uli Sauerland and the workshop Emerging grammars in language
contact situations, on 19/7/2017, organized by Artemis Alexiadou.
