Meeting Description:

The Hunter Undergraduate Linguistics and Language Studies conference is an
opportunity for undergraduate students in linguistics to present their
research in a supportive and constructive environment. 


Call for Papers:

HULLS 7 is set to take place on May 5 and 6, 2017. For HULLS, The Hunter
College Linguistics Association welcomes abstracts of original research from
all areas of linguistics and language studies. Submissions will be accepted
from undergraduate students currently enrolled in a degree-granting
institution or recent graduates. Talks will be allotted 15 minutes with a
5-minute question/discussion period.

Abstracts are limited to 300 words. An abstract should clearly present a
thesis, a clear description of the topic, methods, and conclusions. For any
questions regarding abstracts, please email us at
hc.linguisticsclub at gmail.com.

Abstracts should be sent to hc.linguisticsclub at gmail.com by midnight on
Wednesday, March 24. The abstract should be sent as both text in the body of
the email as well as a .pdf attachment. The attached file should not contain
the name(s) of the author(s). In addition, the following information should be
included in the body of the message:

- Paper title
- Author(s)
- Affiliation
- Email address of each author

If you are a linguistics or language educator, please be sure to tell your
students about HULLS!
