Description:

The People Management Department at the University of Deusto is seeking
candidates to fill the above position in the Faculty of Social and Human
Sciences.

Field: Basque Linguistics
Department: Department of Modern Languages and Basque Studies.
A lecturer and a researcher with experience in the field of Basque
Linguistics.

The job involves performing teaching and research functions in the specific
field of study, and may undertake academic management tasks in the future.

Places available: 1

Campus: Bilbao

Requirements:
- Degree:  PhD
- Experience as a university lecturer and researcher in the above fields.
- Experience in participating in degree tutorial or coordination plans.
- Proficiency in Basque language (C2) is required; an excellent command of
English and Spanish would be an advantage.
- Positive accreditation by the Official Quality Agency (ANECA / UNIBASQ) to
work as a Lecturer (PhD) or Private University Lecturer would be an asset. If
the candidate did not have such accreditation, accreditation as an Assistant
Lecturer (PhD) will also be considered.

We seek a qualified professional, with a teaching vocation, empathy, capacity
for teamwork, motivation for innovation, capacity to adapt and to identify
with UD’s identity and mission.
 
We offer: 
Joining the team at the Faculty and the University in the 2017/2018 academic
year (start date 1 September 2017). This is a full-time job.  The economic
terms will be based on the candidate’s experience and skills.
