Abstract:

Diese empirische Untersuchung beschäftigt sich mit Lernprozessen beim
Sprachenlernen im Tandem, einer Lehr- und Lernkonstellation, die sich
zunehmender Beliebtheit erfreut. Anhand authentischer Daten werden die
Organisation der Tandemgespräche sowie die Lehr- und Lernpotenziale der
Tandeminteraktion für das Deutschlernen chinesischer Studierender beschrieben.
Die plastische Darstellung und Tiefenanalyse der Vielfalt von
Tandeminteraktionen, ihrer Schwierigkeiten, Probleme und Potenziale
verdeutlicht eine im Alltagsverständnis allzu oft idealisierte Vorstellung von
der "Natürlichkeit" des Lernens im Tandem, die sich in dieser Untersuchung
nicht bestätigen lässt. Am Ende des Bandes werden konkrete Anforderungen an
Tandemlehrende formuliert sowie Empfehlungen für die Verbesserung und
Verfeinerung der Methodik ausgesprochen.
