Description:
The University of Cologne has recently established the CRC 1252 “Prominence in
Language,” funded by the German Research Foundation. We are delighted to
announce that several PhD positions are available, running from 01 March 2017
until 31 December 2020.
The PhD positions (65%, German TV-L E13) are available in the following
projects of the CRC 1252:
- A01: Intonation and attention orienting: Neurophysiological and behaviourial
correlates
- B03: Agent prominence and the diachrony of prediction in Indo-Aryan
- B04: Interaction of nominal and verbal features for Differential Object
Marking
- C01: Prominence and information structure
- C03: Reference management in bilingual narratives
- C06: Prominence in subordinating rhetorical relations
