Studies in Applied Linguistics

We are looking forward to submissions for Issue 2, 2017. Submissions should
cover topics of applied linguistics and interdisciplinary areas.

The journal Studies in Applied Linguistics (SALi, http://sali.ff.cuni.cz) is
focused on various topics of applied linguistics, interdisciplinary areas of
linguistic research and related methodological issues.
SALi is an open-access journal with online content freely available to the
readers under the CC BY-NC-ND 2.0 licence and is listed in CEEOL, CEJSH and
EBSCO databases.

We welcome mainly papers focusing on:

- first and second language acquisition (both corpus- and experimentally
based)
- educational linguistics
- learner corpora
- discourse analysis, including analyses of institutional discourses and of
spontaneous spoken interactions, communication on the internet etc.

Apart from original studies, SALi also publishes reviews of research
publications and information about current events in the field, primarily in
the Central European region. Occasionally, it also publishes interviews with
remarkable researchers in (applied) linguistics. The contributions are in
English, German, Czech or Slovak, and every contribution is accompanied by an
English abstract, possibly also by a longer summary in another language.

SALi presumes that contributions offered for publication were not already
published or offered for publication elsewhere.

The manuscript of the contribution has to include an abstract 1200-1500
characters in length and an alphabetical list of about 5 key words, both in
English and in the language of the contribution.
Contributions should be submitted by e-mail to the address
SALi.Journal at ff.cuni.cz

When sending your contribution, please include your affiliation (or another
contact address) and your e-mail.

Full instructions for contributors are available here:

Deadline for submissions is 31 March 2017.
