Description:

The Psycho-/Neurolinguistics Research Group (Jun.-Prof. Dr. Jutta Mueller) of
the Institute of Cognitive Science invites applications for 1 Research
Associate (Salary level E 13 TV-L, 65 %) to be filled by October 1, 2017 for a
period of 3 years.

Description of Responsibilities:

The position involves participation in the research activities within the DFG
funded research project Neurocognitive basis of auditory-linguistic rule
learning in infancy and adulthood: From rule extraction to memory storage.
This project aims at the investigation of infant's ability to detect complex
rule in speech and of the question whether and how this relates to other
linguistic and non-linguistic abilities.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work towards a PhD
outside working hours.

Required Qualifications:

Applicants are expected to have an excellent academic degree (Master/Diploma)
in a field related to Cognitive Neuroscience, Psychology or Linguistics,
programming experience (e.g. Matlab, Presentation), experience in working with
pediatric populations as well as a very good command of German and English.
