Description:

TravelingBrand, Inc. carries out linguistic and cultural validation of
international brand candidates for multinational organizations across a wide
range of industries. 

For each project, the Project Manager contracts professional linguists from
our teams in more than 80 countries, surveys the linguists to identify
linguistic or cultural issues related to brand candidates, leverages
linguistics training to ask clarifying questions of the linguists, and
prepares an executive summary report for the client. The Project Manager is
responsible for delivering accurate, actionable linguistic and cultural
information on time and on budget. 

Required abilities: 
- Attention to visual and verbal detail
- Thinks and acts quickly
- Completes projects by agreed deadlines
- Communicates effectively, including with non-native English speakers
- Gets along with people from diverse cultures 
- Critical thinking capacity
- Proactively accountable
- Keeps multiple projects on schedule 

Required skills:
- Native English speaker 
- Fluency in at least one language besides English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Types minimum 55 accurate words per minute

Required experience/education: 
- Undergraduate degree in linguistics
- Lived outside country of origin for at least 6 months
- Traveled to at least five foreign countries 
- Carried out linguistics-related research projects 

The Project Manager role can be filled on a contract basis from anywhere in
the world.
