Subject: 2 Surveys for Native Speakers of American English

 
Dear fellow linguists, I'm a PhD student of Teaching English as a Foreign
Language and I'm currently doing research into language choices when it comes
to verbal argument alternations. I'm comparing native speakers of American
English and non-native speakers. I have 2 very short and simple
questionnaires, they won't take more than 10 minutes each, and I would like to
ask you for your help. If any American English speakers could do them and
maybe forward the questionnaires to other speakers (my target group are
university students, but all American English speakers are welcome), I would
