Description:

The Faculty, in association with Christ Church College, are seeking a
Departmental Lecturer for 2 years from 1 October 2017. The appointee will
engage in advanced teaching and academic research in French Linguistics. This
will include giving lectures and tutorials to undergraduate and graduate
students, contributing to the teaching, research, and academic administration
of the sub-faculty; and pursuing an independent research programme.

Applicants should possess a PhD or DPhil related to French Linguistics, which
should ordinarily have been submitted by 1 September (candidates due to submit
by 31 December will be considered in exceptional circumstances). You should
possess the ability to teach undergraduate students across a range of topics
in French Linguistics; and to produce high quality research work/publications
within the field of French Linguistics. You should have native or near-native
fluency in French and English, and the ability to teach French language at
undergraduate levels within the Oxford course.
