Description:

The School of Humanities invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant
Professorship with expertise in Language Acquisition, specifically in the area
of bilingual/multilingual acquisition. We welcome applications in any aspect
of language acquisition, but candidates with an interest and track record in
the sociolinguistic and social interactional aspects of language acquisition
in bilingual/multilingual settings are preferred. Candidates must possess a
PhD in Linguistics at the time of appointment, demonstrable evidence of
excellence in research and teaching, and a commitment to university service.
The teaching load is typically 2/2, and we expect this appointment to begin in
January 2018.
