Course Descriptions:

This course is suitable for Speech and Language Therapists who want to update
their knowledge of developmental verbal dyspraxia and to learn about the third
edition of the Nuffield Dyspraxia Programme.
Topics include theoretical aspects, assessment, diagnostic approaches,
management issues and therapy approaches.
There will be lecture and workshop sessions.

Programme Outline:

- Day One:

10am Development Verbal Dyspraxia – A review of the literature
11am Coffee
11.20am Assessment
12.30pm Lunch
1.30pm Assessment (continued)
2.30pm Differential Diagnosis

3.20pm Intervention for verbal Dyspraxia
4.30pm Finish

- Day Two:

9.30am The Nuffield Dyspraxia Programme (3) – therapy approach and treatment
planning
11.00am Coffee
11.20am Therapy issues continued
