We are delighted to announce the new publication of Volume 18, Number 1 of
Language and Linguistics. Language and Linguistics publishes research in
general and theoretical linguistics on the languages of East Asia and the
Pacific region, including Sino-Tibetan, Austronesian, Austroasiatic, and
Altaic language families. Submissions vary from research papers, book reviews
to comments and responses on specific subjects. Beginning in 2017, Language
and Linguistics is co-published by ILAS (Institute of Linguistics, Academia
Sinica) and John Benjamins Publishing Company
(https://benjamins.com/#catalog/journals/lali) and distributed worldwide.
Language and Linguistics seeks to provide research that is professional,
insightful, and current, and welcomes submissions in related areas of
linguistics.
