Full Title: Grammatica & Didattica

Linguistic Field(s): Applied Linguistics

Call Deadline: 31-May-2017

The journal Grammatica e Didattica is part of the research activity of the
Department of Linguistic and Literary Studies of the University of Padua
(Italy) − Linguistics Section. G&D is an online journal
(http://www.maldura.unipd.it/GeD/), which aims to stimulate and promote
research developing systematic reflections about natural languages, and
well-established theoretical proposals, which could be used − or have already
been used − in school teaching. We therefore encourage the collaboration of
scholars and school teachers who are interested in this research field and are
willing to send their contributions regarding any natural language (modern
languages, classical languages, dialects, etc.) and any area of grammar
(phonology, morphology, syntax, prosody...).

Areas for consideration include, but are not limited to, the following:

− application of linguistic theories to first or second language teaching in
classroom contexts;
− grammar reflection in language classes, not only for modern but also for
classical languages;
− minority language teaching, especially in multilingual contexts (i.e.
peculiar constructions, teaching methods, comparative analysis, etc.).
− report of experimental lessons (assessment of the grammar competences
attained and relevant results may be included);
− the role of L1 transfer in L2 learning.

We cordially invite you to submit abstracts for possible publication:
interested authors should send (by 31 May 2017 at the very latest):

a) an extended abstract (one or two pages in length, including references);
b) a list of 3-6 keywords that describe the intended paper and its typology
(theoretical paper, report of an experimental lesson...).

Abstracts can be in either English or Italian, and should be sent to the
following address: linguistica.didattica at gmail.com. The abstracts will be
submitted to the scientific committee for blind evaluation. The notification
of acceptance is expected for July 2017. The extended proposal for accepted
papers should be submitted by the end of September 2017. For further details
about submission, please visit:
http://www.maldura.unipd.it/GeD/contributi.html.

Please do not hesitate to contact the editorial board via email for further
information: linguistica.didattica at gmail.com

Best regards
