Subject: Update on the 2017 Challenges!

 
**Challenge Update!**

Computational Linguists are still running for 1st place in our Subfield
Challenge, followed by Syntacticians! For third place, Semanticists have now
passed Sociolinguists who are now in 4th place! But the numbers are closer and
closer together...

In the University Challenge, things are getting pretty wild! The University of
Washington is still in 1st place for now, but Stanford has just leaped forward
in the last week, now in front of Indiana University and a close challenger to
the 1st position! 

The USA still have the largest number of donors, followed by the UK and
Germany.
