Special Qualifications: This role is ideal for anyone seeking experience in tribal college administration, community organization and/or language revitalization. Our perfect candidate has great communication and event management skills and is proficient with Microsoft Office programs and easily adapts to unfamiliar software. 


Description:
Intern on the Omaha Reservation! The Language Conservancy is seeking a
proactive individual within reasonable traveling distance to Macy, NE, to
assist with administrative duties at the first ever Omaha-Ponca Summer
Institute.

The Omaha-Ponca Summer Institute is a one-week boot camp at Nebraska Indian
Community College. It is open to learners and teachers of the Omaha/Ponca
language, who will take classes in conversation, phonology and teaching
methods in a supportive, immersive environment.

This is a full-time, on-site position. It is unpaid, but travel expenses, food
and cabin accommodation near the college are provided.
