The Institute for Baltic Studies at Stockholm University and University of

which takes place in Stockholm (Sweden) on October 6 – 7 2017.

The aim of the conference is to bring together students from different
countries who are engaged in the Baltic studies, to give them the possibility
to meet, present their academic work, learn from each other and make new
contacts. The conference welcomes everyone who is currently pursuing a
Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree at any university in the Baltic states or
elsewhere.

We are proud to announce that the following experts have agreed to enrich our
conference and participate as keynote speakers:

- Raimo Raag, Uppsala University
- Bernhard Wälchli, Stockholm University
- Jānis Krēsliņš, National Library of Sweden

Furthermore, we are happy that the conference program is taking form and
besides the student presentations and the sessions with the keynote speakers,
there will be a reception at the Latvian embassy and a cultural evening at
Stockholm University.

Welcome to Stockholm!
