Description:

The Department of English Linguistics at the University of Stuttgart is
seeking a full-time postdoctoral researcher to work in the project
“Cross-linguistic interactions in Second Language Prosody”. The position is
for one year, starting July 1, 2017 and ending June 30, 2018. The project is
part of the Collaborative Research Centre 732 “Incremental Specification in
Context”. Information on the project is available here:

The candidate must have a doctoral degree in Linguistics, Psycholinguistics or
Phonetics with a specialization in intonation. A background in experimental
methods in linguistic research and English intonation is a prerequisite.
Strong interest in Second Language Phonology and Psycholinguistics is
desirable. The ideal candidate shows a record of publications commensurate
with his/her career.

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who can work independently,
but will also enjoy being part of a team. The candidate should have good time
management, organisational and communication skills, be proficient in English,
and be committed to contributing to the goals of the overall project.

The salary and social benefits are determined by the German pay scale for
state employees (wissenschaftliche/r Mitarbeiter/in, 100% TV-L E13). The
