Meeting Description:

The V-th International Forum on Cognitive Modeling (IFCM-2017) will be hosted
in Cascais (near Lisbon), Portugal on 10-17 September, 2017.
The goal of IFCM-2017 is to unite the work of experts on cognitive modeling in
linguistics and in other spheres of activity and cognition.

Organizing Committee holds two conferences simultaneously:

- The XVIII-th International Conference “Cognitive Modeling in Linguistics”
(CML-2017)
- The V-th International Conference “Cognitive Modeling in Science, Culture
and Education” (CMSCE-2017)

Conferences of “Cognitive Modeling” series have been successfully carried out
since 1998. In 2000, the organizing and the program committees of conference
has determined its title - “Cognitive Modeling in Linguistics”(CML). The CML
conferences were part of the Russian National Conference on Artificial
Intelligence (CAI) in 1998 and 2000, and later – as part of the International
Congress on Artificial Intelligence (ICAI-2001) in 2001 which was held in
Divnomorskoe (Russia). In 2002, CML conference took place in Divnomorskoe
(Russia) as part of IEEE International Conference “Artificial Intelligence
Systems” (IEEE AIS'02). CML conferences were held in Bulgaria (Varna and
Sofia) from 2003 to 2007. The conference took place in Becici, Montenegro in
2008. CML-2009 visited Constanta, Romania. CML-2010 was held in Dubrovnik,
Croatia. In 2011 CML conference was conducted at Corfu, Greece.

In Milano-Marittima, Italy, the conference received a new format becoming part
of the I-st International Forum that significantly expanded the subject of
cognitive modelling and united the XIV-th Conference “Cognitive Modeling in
Linguistics” (CML-2013) and the I-st International Conference “Cognitive
Modeling in Science, Culture, Education” (CMSCE-2013). Such integrated format
proved to be successful and constructive.

The anniversary XV-th Conference “Cognitive Modeling in Linguistics”
(CML-2014) and the II-nd International Scientific Conference “Cognitive
Modeling in Science, Culture, Education” (CMSCE-2014) were held within the
framework of the II-nd Forum on Cognitive Modeling IFCM-2014 in Slovenia on
its Adriatic coast on 6-13 September, 2014.

The III-rd Forum on Cognitive Modeling IFCM-2015 and its two conferences -
XVI-th International Scientific Conference “Cognitive Modeling in Linguistics”
(CML-2015) and III-rd International Scientific Conference “Cognitive Modeling
in Science, Culture, Education” (CMSCE-2015) were held on 14-21 September,
2015 in Varna, Bulgaria on the Black Sea coast.

The IV-th Forum IFCM-2016 and its two conferences - XVII-th International
Scientific Conference “Cognitive Modeling in Linguistics” (CML-2016) and IV-th
