Internship Location: Athens, Attica, Greece
Minimum Education Level: BA
Special Qualifications: - Degree in Computational Linguistics, ideally specializing in syntactical or semantic parsing, or grammars
- Experience in at least one programming language, such as Perl, Python or Java
- Experience with XML scripting  
- Experience in developing grammars for language systems
- Fluent in English 
- Fluent or native speaker in at least one of the following languages: Greek, Turkish, Romanian.
- Ability to travel for 10%-15% of the time 


Description:
As a Speech Scientist Intern, you will collaborate with other linguists and
software developers in NLU/NLP/Machine Intelligence by providing linguistic
expertise or NLP projects and systems and the development of NLU Grammars and
Statistical Models. You will work closely with them to train NLP and dialogue
systems in various languages and application domains. You will also contribute
to and monitor data acquisition and will participate in developing quality
control and testing methodologies, and improvements.

This is a full-time internship position for 6 months (with a possible
extension to permanent employment), starting as soon as possible.
