IESPTA organizes its Second International ESP
Conference, 1-2 June, Oxford University,Oxford

Towards ESP as an Established Academic Discipline

English for Specific Purposes has now gained substantial body of practice and
disciplinary research that differentiate it as an authentic area within the
corpus of the study of English language as ultimately responsive to the
realities of the professional and scientific surrounding spanning the world.
There is a notable emergence of dedicated publications, special interest
groups, trainings, conventions. With this conference we aim to explore what
efforts and on whose side are needed to have ESP developed and incorporated
into educational policies and universities curricula.


Call for Papers:

We invite papers dealing with ESP and the related fields.
