Meeting Description:

Continuing the impetus of the first four installments of this conference
series in Dublin (2010, 2013), Limerick (2015), and Bergen (2016), this fifth
edition of New Perspectives on Irish English will be held in Potsdam, Germany,
from 25-27 April 2018. 

NPIE 5 is intended to provide an open forum for current research on Irish
English.


Call for Papers:

NPIE 5, New Perspectives on Irish English 5
Potsdam, Germany, 25–27 April 2018

NPIE 5 is intended to provide an open forum for current research on Irish
English. We, thus, invite abstracts for oral and/or poster presentations
dealing with all social and linguistic aspects of this variety.

Please send anonymous abstracts (max. 300 words, not including references) in
pdf-format to arne.peters at uni-potsdam.de and marion.schulte at uni-bielefeld.de
Please indicate whether you are submitting an abstract for an oral
presentation and/or a poster presentation. Include author name(s),
affiliation(s), and contact info in the e-mail only.

The deadline for abstracts is 31 December 2017. You will receive notification
of acceptance by 31 January 2018.
