Description:

The University of Cambridge Department of Computer Science and Technology (The
Computer Laboratory) is seeking to recruit two additional faculty members at
the Lecturer or Senior Lecturer (Assistant/Associate Professor equivalent)
level in Natural Language Processing (NLP) / Computational Linguistics. All
subareas of NLP are welcome, but applicants should have expertise in Machine
Learning techniques.

The posts will be at the level of University Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant
Professor) and will be based in the Department of Computer Science and
Technology (The Computer Laboratory). The salary for a University Lecturer
will be £39,992 - £50,618. Those with appropriate experience in their current
role may be appointed to a Senior Lecturer (equivalent to Associate Professor)
at grade 10, for which the salary will be £53,691 - £ 56,950.

Appointments will be from 1 October 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter.
