Meeting Description:

It seems we think the same thing each year - surely our annual LIF - Language
in Focus Conference cannot be bettered next year. And every year we are happy
to be proved wrong!  An aspect that will make LIF2018 a particularly special
occasion is that LIF Conference and its expanding academic network is
celebrating its 5th year anniversary in 2018.  

LIF2018 - Language in Focus Conference will be organized by Cukurova
University - Turkey, The University of Sheffield International Faculty, CITY
College - Greece and the South-East European Research Centre (SEERC) in
Thessaloniki, Greece in May 3 - 5, 2018. 

As you know, annual International LIF Conferences have already become an
academic platform for exchanging ideas, projects and scientific research
between aspiring academics, teachers, university students and well-known
researchers thanks to your invaluable contributions. 

In harmony with this spirit of academic enthusiasm, we would like to invite
academics, scholars, representatives of central and local educational
authorities, non-governmental organizations, school teachers and practitioners
representing an exciting diversity of countries, cultures, and religions to
meet and exchange ideas and views in a forum encouraging respectful dialogue.
LIF2018, to be held in Thessaloniki, Greece, will constitute a great
opportunity to meet experts in various areas of ELT and language studies.

Call for Papers:

Abstracts of papers, workshops or posters in the range of 200-250 words
together with the registration form should be submitted via the conference
website using both Abstract Submission

participant will have the opportunity to present up to 2 papers. You will be
notified about the status of your submission by January 15, 2018.
