Meeting Description:

Bandung English Language Teaching International Conference (BELTIC) will take
place in Bandung - Indonesia on January 22-24, 2018. The international
conference is the premier forum hosted by English Education Department UIN
Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. The conference will bring together researchers,
policy makers and practitioners to discuss and share issues, new advances and
research results in all aspects of English Language Teaching. The BELTIC 2018
main theme is Developing ELT in the 21st Century. All accepted abstracts will
be required to submit a manuscript of 6000 words. All papers will be
peer-reviewed by the members of a scientific committee. USD 100 grants and
awards are offered to the best papers and the best presenters of the
conference.

Scopes of the conferences:

Scopes of the conference are ranged from but not limited to:

- English Language Teaching (ELT):
Current Approaches, Methods, and Best Practices in ELT, Material Development
and Analysis in ELT, Assessment and Evaluation in ELT, Teaching English to
Young Learners, Teaching English for Specific Purposes, Cross-Cultural Context
in ELT, Literature-Based English Teaching

-Education:
Teacher Professional Development, Curriculum Development, Education Policy and
Evaluation, Character Education, Technologies in Educational Settings,
Teaching Students with Special Needs, Bilingual Education, Gender Studies in
Education

-Applied Linguistics:
Challenges and Opportunities in Teaching English Linguistics, Discourse
Studies/ Critical Discourse Analysis, Translation Studies, Sociolinguistics,
Corpus Linguistics, Language Acquisition 


Call for Papers:

Abstract and Paper Submission:
Abstracts and papers should address the conference topic, however those that
are relevant to other areas related to ELT, Linguistics, and education will be
considered. Abstracts should be submitted through the following link:
http://beltic.uinsgd.ac.id/ and no longer than 250 words (including the title,
author(s) and affiliations). Deadline for submission: 30 September, 2017.
Decisions on acceptances will be made by email on 14 October, 2017. 

Publication:
Selected papers from this conference will be published in BELTIC 2018
Proceedings (indexed by SCOPUS*).
