Abstract:

LehrerInnen stehen vor der großartigen Aufgabe, Schülerinnen und Schüler mit
Deutsch als Erst- und Zweitsprache gemeinsam zu unterrichten und dabei das
große Potential eines mehrsprachigen Klassenzimmers sprachdidaktisch
auszuschöpfen. Dieses Buch dient als Unterstützung, diese Herausforderung
anzunehmen. Ausgehend von den Kompetenzbereichen der Bildungsstandards
erläutert der Band sprachwissenschaftliche Grundlagen, beschreibt die
besonderen Lernbedingungen von SchülerInnen mit Deutsch als Zweitsprache und
stellt sprachdidaktische Konzeptionen unter Berücksichtigung ihrer Eignung für
mehrsprachige Klassen vor.
