Description:

Morehead State University's Department of English seeks applications for a
3-year Post-Doctoral Research Associate in an NIH-funded project on prosody
and sentence processing. The project, under director Katy Carlson, is
researching the role of accents and boundaries in syntactic attachment. The
candidate will aid in carrying out auditory and visual experiments
(recruitment, setup, running, analysis), as well as their presentation and
write-up. Further, the applicant will teach one undergraduate linguistics
course per year. Preferred start date would be January 8, 2018; position is
open until filled.

Qualifications: 
- Ph.D. in linguistics, psychology, or related field required
- Previous experimental experience required
- Previous training in prosody and/or sentence processing desirable but not
required
