The School of Languages and Social Sciences is an ambitious, expanding,
multidisciplinary School with an established reputation for excellence in
teaching and research.
The English and Modern Languages Department are seeking to make an appointment
at Lecturer level in Linguistics from 1 September 2018.

We are looking to appoint an individual who can make a significant
contribution in research and teaching, particularly in developing and
enhancing corpus linguistics and teaching within the English and French
Departments. You should have a completed doctorate in a relevant social
science discipline and a strong track record of publications and research.

For Lecturer posts, the minimum period for which initial appointments are made
is normally five years, with the possibility of transfer to a continuing
