Final Call for Papers:

Paper submissions open 4 September 2018!

Authors are invited to submit papers on original, unpublished research in the
phonetic sciences. The theme of the Congress is “Endangered Languages, and
Major Language Varieties”.

For this Congress, there will be a two stage submission process. Authors must
signal their intention to submit a full paper by submitting at least the title
and abstract by 4 December 2018. Authors are also encouraged to submit full
papers by this date, though the submission portal will be open for
upload/revision of full papers until 11 December 2018. Please note these are
strict deadlines and they will not be extended. 

Papers related to Congress themes are especially welcome, but we welcome
papers related to any of the scientific areas listed on the Congress website.
Information on submission guidelines will be available on the Congress website
. The paper submission portal opens on 6 August 2018.

Special Sessions Confirmed:

The organisers of the International Congress of Phonetic Sciences 2019 are
delighted to announce the pre-selected special sessions for the Congress.

Special sessions cover emerging topics, challenges, interdisciplinary research
and subjects that will foster useful debate in the phonetic sciences.

Many of the special sessions relate to the ICPhS themes “Endangered Languages,
and Major Language Varieties”.
