Description:
The Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Novi Sad (Serbia) is delighted
to invite you to take part in the International Spring School on
Psycholinguistics, Neurolinguistics and Clinical Linguistics to be held at the
University of Novi Sad from 15-19 April 2019. The Spring School is directed at
graduate and advanced undergraduate students interested in learning about the
neurocognitive foundations of language, about how to make their research ideas
into concrete steps towards experimental designs, how to approach data
collection and how to analyse data using experimental and statistical methods.
The intensive short programme (30 hours) offers 3-hour courses in three
interrelated disciplines, taught by experts from Denmark, France, Holland,
Slovenia and Serbia. The following teachers and topics are confirmed:

Introduction and Linguistics - Srdjan Popov (University of Groningen, Holland)
Language Acquisition - Mirjana Mandic (Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts,
Serbia) 
Neuroanatomy for linguists - Silvia Martinez Ferreiro (University of
Copenhagen, Denmark)
Clinical linguistics I – Silvia Martinez Ferreiro (University of Copenhagen,
Denmark)
Clinical linguistics II - Silvia Martinez Ferreiro (University of Copenhagen,
Denmark)
Psycholinguistics - Dusica Filipovic Djurdjevic (University of Belgrade,
Serbia) 
Experimental design - Christina Manouilidou (University of Ljubljana,
Slovenia)
Neuroimaging - Christina Manouilidou (University of Ljubljana, Slovenia)
Statistics for Linguists I - Seckin Arslan (University of Nice, France)
Statistics for Linguists II - Seckin Arslan (University of Nice, France)

The spring school is followed on April 20 2019 by the 7th edition of the Novi
Sad workshop in Psycholinguistic, Neurolinguistic and Clinical Linguistic
Research at the same venue (free of charge for attendees of the Spring
School).

Tuition: 100 EUR

Registration Fee: 100 EUR to be paid before February 15, 2019 after
notification of acceptance (end of January 2019). The registration fee
includes attendance, materials, tea/coffee, light snacks (5 days), free access
to the 7th Novi Sad workshop in Psycholinguistic, Neurolinguistic and Clinical
Linguistic Research to be held on April 20th at the Faculty of Philosophy.

Registration Instructions:
To be considered for attendance, send an expression of interest (see
Application form at
http://ff.uns.ac.rs/fakultet/IntSpringSchool/Int_Spring_School_Main.html) to
the email address provided above before 30 December 2018, setting out your
reasons and motivation for wishing to attend. In case there are more
expressions of interest than can be accommodated, priority will be given to
graduate students with a demonstrated interest in the neurocognitive
foundations of language. Notification of acceptance will be sent out by the
end of January 2019.
