Meeting Description:

The Scarborough Undergraduate Linguistics Conference (SULC) is an annual
full-day research conference held at the University of Toronto Scarborough.
The 6th annual conference it will be taking place on Friday, March 1, 2019.

SULC provides an opportunity for undergraduate students to engage with their
peers and present findings from their current research projects. We welcome
submissions from all linguistics subfields and accept both in-progress and
completed research. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not
hesitate to reach out to us.


Call for Papers:

We are currently accepting abstracts for the 6th annual Scarborough
Undergraduate Linguistics Conference.

We are looking for a one (1) page abstract (300 words max.) per research
project*. We accept submissions relating to any aspect of language analysis:
phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, sociolinguistics,
psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics, computational linguistics, historical
linguistics, language acquisition, language variation, multilingualism,
comparative analysis, etc.

*Maximum of one (1) sole author and one (1) co-authored project per
person.

Prizes :
- Cash prizes for the top 3 presentations.
- Certificate awards for each participating student researcher.

Details & Deadline for Submission :
- Must be sent in via E-MAIL as attachments in MS Word or PDF format to
linguisticsclub.utsc at gmail.com by 11:59 PM, January 20, 2019.
- Please include the name(s) and affiliation(s) of the researcher(s) and title
of your project within your e-mail.
