Description:

This is a last call for applications for the MSc program on Language and
Multimodal Interaction (within the Cognitive Science degree). The Master’s
degree course in Cognitive Science, LMI track, is aimed at the acquisition of
advanced theoretical and methodological knowledge in cognitive science through
an interdisciplinary approach to the study of the mind-brain system and a
focus on human language. Students will learn skills that range from formal
semantics and theoretical syntax to computational methods for modeling
language and its interaction with other modalities to language deficits and
pathologies. Students are actively involved in developing research projects
and have access to UniTN laboratories and research centers in Trento (like
FBK) during the Master’s program, thus gaining invaluable hands-on experience
with the latest research technologies.

The deadline is FEBRUARY 20, 2018 (for both EU and non-EU citizens). If places
are still available, the call will be reopened from March 20 to June 12, 2018
(only for EU citizens and non-EU residents in Italy).

- All courses are taught in English
- 50 available positions, 25 of them reserved to non-EU citizens
- Possibility of funding (scholarship and tuition fee
reduction/exemption) with UniTrento (for non-EU students) and Opera
Universitaria
- UniTrento-SISSA program and other international opportunities
- According to our recent internal survey, 88.3% of our graduates are
currently employed, 58.8% of them by pursuing a PhD and 15% of them as
post-docs or researchers.
