Meeting Description:

Arabic Planning Laboratory stresses focus on all what concern language as
distinctive, essential, mysterious, practical and central to human life along
with linguistic studies that are based mainly on how language works and
processed. Thus, the Fifth International Doctoral Seminar on Comparative
Linguistics is an opportunity for both university teachers and students aim at
enhancing the linguistic research in different fields, in addition to
strengthening the concept of sharing knowledge between researchers and
scholars all over the world.


Call for Papers:

Arabic Planning Laboratory is pleased to announce the Fifth International
Doctoral Seminar, to be held on the 10 and 11 of May 2018, at the Faculty of
Letters and Humanities, Ibn Tofail University, Kenitra, Morocco.

All participants willing to be part of such astonishing seminar are asked to
send their abstracts concerning the following research topics:

- Theoretical Linguistics (Phonology, Morphology, Syntax, Semantics and
Pragmatics)
- Applied Linguistics
- Sociolinguistics
- Language Planning issues

Please take into consideration that we invite a twenty-minute talk plus a
ten-minute discussion. Abstracts must be in PDF format, 2 pages (A4), in an
11pt font size, and with margins of 1 inch/2.5 cm. Please send your abstract

The Lab is charge free of the participants’ travel and accommodation expenses.
Registration fees are as follows:

Participants from abroad: 40€
NB: Registration fees cover the documents and meals during the two-day
