Seventh Bonn Applied English Linguistics Conference (BAELc7)

Special Focus: Language Learning and Teaching

The 7th Bonn Applied English Linguistics Conference will be held on Friday, 4
May and Saturday, 5 May 2018.

Keynotes:

Prof. Dr Susanne Niemeyer
Prof. Dr Christopher J. Hall


Call for Papers:

The focus of this year’s conference will be Language Learning and Teaching
with a special focus on the role of pragmatics. However, papers are invited
from all areas of applied linguistics, with a preference for papers with an
empirical approach. The conference is open to all interested, but aimed
specifically at postgraduates, PhD students and post-docs.

Please send your proposals via e-mail by noon, 19 March 2018 to
bael at uni-bonn.de . 

Abstracts should be approximately 300 words long and show a clear research
objective. Please also include a short bio-note of maximally 100 words in your
email.

Speakers will be given 20 minutes for their presentation, followed by a
10-minute Q&A session. The language of the conference is English.

We will inform you whether you have been accepted for the BAELc7 via e-mail by
29 March 2018.
