Meeting Description:

The Romance Linguistics Forum represents all approaches towards the study of
Romance Linguistics, both theoretical and applied, at the Modern Language
Association (MLA). The Forum is putting forth a call for papers for its
guaranteed session at the 2019 MLA Annual Convention, which will take place in
Chicago, IL from 3 to 6 January, 2019. Presenters need to be current MLA
members by 7 April, 2018 in order to be able to present in the 2019
convention.


Call for Papers: 

The MLA Romance Linguistics Forum welcomes a wide range of participants and
approaches to Romance Linguistics and invites abstracts exploring any area of
Romance Linguistics (theoretical or applied) within any framework for the 2019
MLA Convention. Although preference is given to papers addressing more than
one Romance Language, all abstracts will be considered.

Abstracts should be submitted in .pdf format, not exceeding 1 page (300-500
words), with a second page reserved for examples, tables and references.
Please include the presenter’s name, affiliation, and contact information in
the body of the e-mail.

Please submit your abstract to: cgonzalez3 at fsu.edu by March 15, 2018.
Acceptance notifications will be sent by April 1st, 2018.
