Linguistic Field(s): Applied Linguistics; General Linguistics; Psycholinguistics; Sociolinguistics

Call Deadline: 01-Jun-2018

Linguistics and Intercultural Communication is a peer-reviewed journal
published quarterly by Novosibirsk State University, Russia. Access to it is
open at the Russian Science elibrary through this link:
https://elibrary.ru/contents.asp?titleid=11923

The journal invites scholars to contribute to special regular issues aimed at
developing unified terminology in areas such as cognitive linguistics and
language-culture studies (known in Russia as linguoculturology).

Progress in language and communication studies depends strongly on
coordination of research carried out by scholars from different countries and
on the commonality of terms they use. The Editorial Board assumes that the
development of international linguistics requires information support aimed to
harmonize the terminology and offer prospective authors an opportunity to use
the journal as a medium to advance in this direction.

Particularly welcomed are reviews on topical issues of modern linguistics
(both on the global and national scale): comparative analysis of research
trends, empirical and theoretical traditions and the peculiarities of
linguistic terminology in different countries.

Aims & Scope of the first special issue: Theory and Methodology of
Linguistics; Cognitive Linguistics; Psycholinguistics; Sociolinguistics.
All manuscripts should be written in English.

Manuscripts can be submitted through e-mail attachments to
lingua at vestnik.nsu.ru. Articles should be sent in two formats: a DOC or DOCX
file and a PDF file. All contributions must contain an abstract and keywords
written in English. For more details, please visit our website at
https://nsu.ru/vestnik_linguistics

Important dates:
Contributions to the first issue are expected by 1 June, 2018.
We intend to ensure a fast and transparent reviewing process.
