Description:

The position offered is a 50% research assistant position (Wissenschaftlicher
Mitarbeiter, TVL 13) in English linguistics at the Department of English,
American and Celtic Studies of the University of Bonn. The contract will be
for two years.

The successful candidate's main task would be to help building a multilingual
translation corpus. Furthermore, teaching one corpus-linguistic seminar or
tutorial per semester would be expected. 

Requirements:
- MA in English Linguistics, General Linguistics, Computer Linguistics or
Translation Studies
- Sound background in computer linguistics and/or corpus-linguistics
- Native-like or near native-like knowledge of English and German
- Further languages and a background in translation studies a plus
