Description:

The UCLA Department of Linguistics anticipates making a full-time Lecturer
appointment for the Spring quarter of the current academic year (2017-18) to
teach two undergraduate courses. We anticipate that both courses will be in
phonology, though it is possible that one course will be in general
linguistics. Applicants should have expertise in current phonological theory.

Spring quarter instruction will begin on April 2, 2018 and continue through
June 8, 2018, followed by a one-week exam period. Salary will be based on the
current union contract for lecturers at UCLA. Further information will be
provided at the time of hire.
